If you haven’t already noticed from some of my previous posts, I love cutting edge electronics and I am continuously looking for new places to buy them for affordable prices. Recently, I was turned on to a new website by a friend who shares the same passion, it is Crutchfield.com. My factory stereo stopped playing CD’s in my car and consequently, I am on the verge of being driven insane by the same annoying, redundant songs on the radio. I swear if I have to hear Lady Gaga singing about Spanish men and telephones or Katy Perry and the California Girls one more time, I am going to jab a trident through my center console. I need a new car stereo! So I took my friend’s advice and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I bought a stereo at an affordable price that has the capability to play CD’s, MP3 CD’s, and it boasts a USB & Ipod hookup. I got it for about $40 less than Best Buy and it came with the wiring harness and console adapter for free (a $50 cost at Best Buy). The best part was still to come. Shipping and lifetime technical support was absolutely free and they were both exceptional. The people at Crutchfield support are extremely helpful, knowledgable and informative. On a refreshing note, they were very polite as well. The free shipping was phenomenal. I ordered my item on a Tuesday morning and it arrived by Wednesday night. Now, all I have to do is figure out how to install the damn thing, which is a little harder then disarming a nuclear bomb.
So, the next time you need an electronic of any sort, I would highly recommend you check out Crutchfield. They have TV’s, surround sound, car audio equipment, cameras, and much more. I am not promising they will have the cheapest prices but they do have exceptional service at quality prices. Let me know so of your experiences if you decide to follow my advice.
You don’t have to be a tech nerd to appreciate a good deal on electronics. While you might not get excited as some people about a great deal on a brand new graphics card for your PC, chances are a great deal on 46″ HDTV will get you excited. One place I love to habitually check is Dell.com. I love good deals and I love having the latest gadget and dell.com helps me achieve both. While most of the deals on this site are focused around desktop PC’s, laptops, and netbooks…there are other deals to be found if you dig a little deeper.
The “TV & Electronics Deals” page has a lot to offer from HDTV’s to Blu-Ray players to flat-screen computer monitors to wireless mouse & keyboard combos. It all depends on what they have on sale during the current time period.
The Daily Deal - Everyday the site is updated with a new daily deal and sometimes there can be more than one item on sale. This is where I typically discover the best finds…deals that allow me to save $30 off a monitor or $400 off of a LCD TV.
Weekend Deals – Every weekend, about 10-15 new deals pop up, some are useless and others are very tempting.
There are many other categories that list deals related to a more specific genre of electronic such as cameras or gaming or tv’s. Check these out if you are specifically searching for a product and not just browsing as I usually am.
Dell’s Days of Deals - These are the deals to wait for! Periodically, throughout the year, Dell will have 10 Days of Deals or Days of Summer Deals. Usually it is 3-4 deals a day and they are usually very good products and very cheap prices. The deals last for two days…so…Monday’s deals will be available for Monday & Tuesday but then they will be gone, so you do have to make your mind up pretty quick on the purchase.
If this is something that might interest you, add the link as a bookmark and check it out on a regular basis. The more often you check, the better chance you have of finding a good deal. (Dell should pay me)
