This is a hilarious website run by a man named David Thorne.  This guy is the epitome of sarcasm and that benefits our entertainment.  The site contains a lot of articles as well as email conversations he has had.  The success of this site and the hilarity of these emails has enabled him to write multiple books which have been incredibly popular.  His latest, “The Internet is a Playground” is currently in the Top 5 on the NY Times Bestseller list.

The link below is for an email conversation between himself and a co-worker. The title of it is called “Missing Missy”.

Once you read through “Missing Missy” and have had time to gather yourselves, I would highly recommend reading some of the other articles on the lefthand side of the page.  Here are a few good ones that I have enjoyed.

  • 10 Formal Complaints
  • Simon’s Pie Charts
  • Free Burton Snowboard
  • Opinions
  • Twelve Coffee Cups
  • Massanutten

Enjoy!

Is Your Office This Cool?

I know my office space is boring.  I stare at a blank white wall and the only spice in my workspace is my awesome Redskins memorabilia and pictures of my hott girlfriend.  While I think it is cool, it doesn’t really compare to some of these creative minds.

Consider this as….Inspiration

I Love Advertisements!

I am very thankful that there is a shift in the trend with television commercials.  Instead of enlightening us, the consumers, about their company or their product in the hope that we end up making a purchase…some companies are just trying to make us laugh and entertain us.  I appreciate the latter companies much more.  I don’t want to be schmoozed into buying some product I have no need for, just entertain me!

This is precisely why E-Trade is my favorite company.  I have no idea what they do, nor do I care or have any intention on finding out.  All I know, is that the baby is a genius.  He is like 2 and has a more extensive vocabulary than I did when I exited high school.  He can juggle multiple girlfriends…even one who is a milkaholic. (I hear that is a tough addiction to break.)  Obviously, his bedtime is unheard of for a toddler since he is taking the red eye back…from a bachelor party.  Not to mention, he is chillin in first class with his neck pillow and wireless keyboard.  Obviously, he is more mature that his buddy, Mike, who is clearly suffering from a severe case of homesickness.

Keep up the good work E-Trade.  Still don’t know what you do and I still don’t care.  All I know is next time I am on an airplane and the pilot comes on the intercom, you better believe I am going to mistake him for my dad too.
